Great Place to get away from it all. Even though you are car camping you feel as though you were back country camping. Very quite and remote place. Plus each camping spot has more privacy than your regular camp ground.
There is also trails that run right next to the campsite so if you do not get those back country permits you applied for this is right off the Florida National Scenic trail. This area is probably most of central Florida's hikers favorite area in the forest to hike.
Simple, basic, and has a limited number of sites. Probably not worth the $10/night but I still pay it.
My favorite Florida Primitive camp spot. Amazing oak canopies. Early Morning hikes are priceless.
