Within 20 minutes of checking in, we noticed bugs on the sheets. Upon closer inspection, we realized they were bedbugs. There is no mistaking a bed bug. Google it and ask any entomologist and they will confirm that they have a very specific shape no matter what stage of life they are in.When the owner was presented with one of the bugs pulled from the bed, they swiftly took it and said they were going to take it to the Ag center to confirm that it was in fact a carpet beetle. (The two look absolutely nothing alike). We called the head of the Agricultural center and he confirmed that NO ONE had brought any specimen in to be looked at and the owner will not return our calls. They even had the mattress covers stapled down so that you could not properly inspect the mattresses as we have come to do before placing our items out in a room.

Owners are awesome! Property and area had lots to do.

Went there with friends and we had a great time! Owner is very friendly, place is beautiful and the river swing rope was the best. You can also rent canoes. Both cabins were clean and they even have firewood available. 100% recommended. Actually I'm going back this coming weekend.

Great place more for elderly people very strict and animals are allowed very stricked on the rules about pets and a very fair monthly rate and light deposit over all great place

This was supposed to be one last fun hurrah for my daughter before the school year began and has turned into a nightmare. Hours at the laundromat washing and drying all of our belongings after carefully inspecting every nook and cranny of our clothes, luggage, stuffed animals, etc..Then off to an entomologist to buy chemicals to treat all of our belongings and houses with. If you think I am exaggerating, talk to someone that has lived through the nightmare of bringing these things home with them inadvertently. The Owners Mike and Shelly could not have possibly been more rude and deceitful. Absolutely horrific experience.

We had a great time here! The cabins are cute and cozy and can sleep a lot of people. I loved the layout of the one bedroom cabin with 2 bunk beds and a fun loft! The cabins come with bedding, towels and kitchen utensils and cookware. Oh, and a TV! They also have a grill and a fire pit and wood is available at the campground. Wi-Fi is available and worked great, however I had off and on phone service (AT&T). More off than on but we used a walkie talkie app to communicate with friends close by which was fun! Kayaks are available and there is a rope swing on the river as well as a play area for kids and a small pond. RV and tent sites are also available. I believe there is a washer and dryer in the club house. Mike was fantastic! He was very nice and helpful. We had a great time and plan on coming back very soon!
